Believe it or not, water can revamp your makeup routine and bring it to another level. It may sound like a dream come true, but this makeup hack isn't just a fairy tale. I know what you're all thinking... no, it doesn't guarantee the love of your prince charming, but don't fret because it does end with a happily ever after.
You must be wondering how water can be added to your makeup routine and really, it's quite simple! You can use it in almost every step of your routine.
"Water is essential to life... we need it to look pretty!" said Mary Kishi, jokingly.
Mary, a total diva and fashionista, swears by water's ability to add life and a youthful effect to your makeup. She gave me a few tips that have helped keep my skin moisturized and gave me a dewy, fresh look.
Mary's first tip includes a new way to apply foundation. Dampen your Beauty Blender and squeeze out the excess water. Add a dab of foundation to the top of your hand and use the Beauty Blender to apply the foundation to your face. Using a bouncy-motion to apply your foundation gives you coverage, as well as extra moisturizing power from the damp Blender.

Water isn't just used for moisturizing. You can use it to add some Glitz & Glam to your eyes.
Ever struggle with eyeshadows that aren't pigmented enough or that simply don't come out like they do on models?? Dampen your eyeshadow brush before applying your eyeshadow. The damp brush will intensify the color to create bold, more dramatic looks. You can also use a damp brush to keep your glitter eyeshadow in place and from falling off.

Here's a pretty example of intensified colors and lasting glitter from the use of water in your makeup routine.

Susan Ayako, a fellow Glitz & Glam fan, struggles with oily skin. She explained to us that she uses powder foundation to combat the oil, instead of using a liquid which would heighten the oily look, but ends up with a dry, splotchy face.
"Ugh! How am I supposed to get nice coverage if powder foundation leaves my skin dry and liquid foundation makes me look ten times oilier??" said Susan.
This is an issue many of us have, and we have a nifty little solution here for you. Consider using a moisturizer prior to applying your powder foundation. If that doesn't work, spritz water on your face throughout the day when it starts to look dry.
